No information referring to the appointment was given to me previous to my arriving at the dealership, therefore. I was unprepared for the time and inconvenience necessary. I was not informed that if I needed the engine light (which has been on for 3 weeks) examined, I would have to leave the vehicle for a week as there were 80 other vehicles with the same problem ahead of me. I have experienced a noise when I acclerated if the AC was on high. It sounded like the engine was stuck & wanted to come apart ..again I was told that that It would need to be left at the dealers. I am a single, senior with one vechile ... no loaner is offered and according to the representative, "We don't do that'". Now, excuse me , but if there are 80 other vehicles with their emgine light on, don't you think that should be looked at by Volkswagon? Sounds like a manufacturers problem to me. It happens that my SS check doesn't come in until the 4th Wednesday of the month.
I did not know I needed to pay for the oil change as I was unaware that this time it wasn't covered. The service representative told me that only the first & second change is covered. I have had the vehicle since December of 2021 and I really think I have had the oil changed more than twice, maybe not but .....
So at this point I am not very pleased with Autonation Volkswagon Service.

Told it was a 6hr service and I have to drop off the car before 9am to get it back same day but it only took them 30mins to complete the service. When called to confirm the appointment, service agent didn’t ask any questions to verify vehicle status and my vehicle was only at 6k miles which is not due for service, was also promised the recall repairs will be done the same day but was told it’s not available when drop off the vehicle. Car wash did a lousy job and car was not charged as I requested even when I told them it will take me more than 30mins to get back since the original plan was to leave the car for 6hrs. Service agent didn’t even reply back to my message

I received a recall notice for my Atlas. I called the number, made sure the agent checked with dealership to have the required part in stock and set the appointment. I called the designated advisor to double check if tjey have the part and got the confirmation it's in stock. Dropped my car a day before the appointment, which was set fot Tuesday, and got that the part was in stock from the advisor. Appointment was set for 7:30am. About 2:00pm I've a call from the advisor saying they don't have the part and it's been ordered with ETA for Thursday or Friday. I got kind of upset and called the customer care center and got transferred to the service manager, which never answered my phone, nor gave a call back after I left a message. Miraculosly the part arrived on Wednesday and my car was ready before I expected. So I'm disapointed with the reacall procedure from VW. What is the point to set the appointment if the part is not in stock? Also please, in the future do not ignore customer calls.
